Calcium acetate monohydrate
Calcium acetate is a chemical compound which is a calcium salt of acetic acid the monohydrate (Ca(CH3COO)2•H2O) is the common form.
Used in the manufacture of printing inks, lubricants, soaps, carbon black, and resins, among others in the chemical industry. It is also used by PVC foam manufacturers as a blowing agent. Calcium acetate is used in wastewater treatment plants in municipal and industrial facilities and is employed as a concrete accelerator during construction.
